The voting period for the Northern Nevada Business Weekly’s 2021 Best In Business contest begins today, Sept. 22, starting at 12 p.m. (noon).Of note, originally voting was to begin at 12:01 a.m., but the timeframe was delayed due to some technical difficulties.The voting period will last through 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5. During this phase, readers can vote once per day for their favorite nominee in each of the 18 categories.After voting wraps, the NNBW will announce 10 finalists for each category in November. From there, all 18 winners, as well as second and third place, will be announced Dec. 29, 2021, online and within the 2022 Northern Nevada Book of Lists, the 14th annual edition of which is scheduled to publish the same day.Head to nnbw.com/bestinbusiness2021 to begin voting starting at noon Sept. 22.
