Rebuilding Together Northern Nevada is installing its first full-time executive director, Katie Pace.

The installation makes Pace the nonprofit’s first full-time staff member. She is transitioning to an internal role after having served as board president for more than two years and as chair of the nonprofit’s governance committee.

Pace was instrumental in founding the Northern Nevada chapter in 2020 and has run committees and managed volunteers. Most recently, she served as an ombudsman for the State of Nevada, office for Consumer Health Assistance, where she navigated consumers through the complexities of accessing healthcare needs and communicating with health insurance carriers.

Prior, Pace served as a constituent services manager for 12 years on behalf of U.S. Senator and Congressman Dean Heller, garnering exposure to local, state, and federal government operations in addition to building relationships with local and regional corporate and community organizations.

Early in her career, Pace spent 18 years with her family’s operation, Eymann Publications, which published instructional newsletters focused on aging and geriatric care, reaching more than 50,000 readers working in nursing homes and hospitals across the country.

Pace earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Nevada, Reno in human development and family studies.
