Travel Nevada’s Industry Development team has welcomed Cortney Bloomer and Abigail Ortiz.
Bloomer joins the team as destination development manager. In her previous roles as the public information officer for Carson City Health and Human Services, Western Nevada Safe Routes to School coordinator, and the food systems manager at Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon and Storey counties, Bloomer knows the importance of collaborating with stakeholders from rural communities to develop programs and build coalitions to achieve shared goals. Bloomer studied public health at West Virginia University, where she received her master’s degree.
