G8 Strategies is pleased to share that the agency has earned a Silver Award for the Feeding Pets of the Homeless (FPOTH) annual report in the inaugural Anthem Awards announced last week in New York.

Anthem winners are selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and G8 was awarded the honor in the Humanitarian Action & Services - Best Local Awareness Program category.

G8 Strategies is headquartered in Reno, with an office in New York, and provides investor relations, public relations and marketing strategies to clients worldwide.

“This is quite the honor for our team,” said founder and President Ira M. Gostin. “Feeding Pets is an amazing organization and the award not only reflects our team’s commitment and creativity but the importance of the organization to the many homeless individuals with pets in our country.”

“It is our distinct honor to recognize the work that brands, organizations, and individuals are all making to create an impact in their community,” said Jessica Lauretti, managing director of The Anthem Awards. “We launched this platform to show the world that all corners of our culture, from sports and entertainment to business leaders and celebrities, are all standing up to say, it is time for systemic change and that social good is what we value as a society.”

FPOTH is headquartered in Carson City, Nev., and is the first and leading national nonprofit providing pet food, crates for shelter compliance and emergency veterinary care to pets belonging to people experiencing homelessness.

The team for this project worked in conjunction with the FPOTH agency of record at the time, In Plain Sight Marketing (IPSM): Gostin, Project and Creative Director; Kristen Furleigh, Account Manager IPSM; Terry DeLaRosby, Art Director IPSM, Renee Plain, Account Executive IPSM and Genevieve Frederick, founder and president, FPOTH.
