Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation has announced Holly Aycock as executive director of the non-profit.
Aycock, who served as the NNCCF director of programs and services for the past year, has more than 20 years of experience as the University of Nevada, Reno assistant athletics director of marketing and promotions.
Her previous responsibilities included managing community partner agreements, negotiating long-term partnerships and contracts totaling $900,000 in annual value, generating an average of $2 million revenue through advertising and promotions, planning and executing events, and supervising department staff. Additionally, she has an extensive skillset which includes a strong background in marketing, events, and management for NNCCF.
As executive director, Aycock will work alongside the board of directors, staff, and other volunteer leaders to assist NNCCF as they strive to enhance the quality of life for children with cancer and their families by alleviating both financial burden and emotional strain, while also advocating for increased research funds and public awareness.
