Alston Construction has announced Matt Clafton will serve as senior vice president and regional manager to the Idaho and Southern California territories.
In addition to his new role, Clafton is also the senior vice president and regional manager for the Nevada, Oregon, and Washington regions. With over 28 years of construction expertise including 20 years with Alston Construction, Clafton has been a part of many large-scale warehouse/distribution projects, including Petco’s first-ever ground up distribution center, Mary Gone Cracker’s new headquarters, Zazzle, Elemental LED, PODs, S&S Activewear, and Amazon last-mile facilities.
Clafton earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. He is a board member and past president of the University of Nevada, Reno Alumni Council, and supporter of the Nevada Football Alumni Association.
Additionally, Clafton currently serves on the board of directors for the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation, a position that he has held for over 15 years. Clafton also holds a leadership role for the Alston Construction Amazon team.
