United Federal Credit Union has announced the appointment of Tisha Carey as mortgage advisor at its branch at 1170 Bible Way in Reno and Lorie Schulenberg as senior commercial loan officer at its branch at 935 Jacks Valley Rd., in Carson City.
Carey will provide quality real estate lending expertise through financial counseling and product awareness to credit union members regarding their real estate financing needs and generate investment quality mortgage loans.
Lorie Schulenberg
Carey brings 35 years of mortgage and financial experience in the northwest Nevada market to her new role. Most recently, she was a mortgage loan officer in the Reno area. She pairs her industry knowledge with a passion to help people find the right mortgage option for their new home. Carey will also work with United’s community partners including United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra and the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows.
As senior commercial loan officer, Schulenberg will provide quality business lending expertise through financial counseling and product awareness to credit union members regarding their business financing needs.
Schulenberg brings more than 25 years of financial and commercial lending experience to her new role. Prior to joining United, she was the senior vice president/commercial relationship manager for Commerce Bank of Temecula Valley in California.
She holds an associate’s degree in business administration and accounting from San Diego Mesa Community College. Schulenberg is active in her community and has previously served on the board for Habitat of Humanity Inland Valley and has volunteered with many other non-profits.
