Western Nevada Environmental Laboratory announced Robert Johnson will be joining the team as a geochem scientist 4 at the WETLAB Sparks branch.
Johnson brings 15 years of experience with him, having most recently worked for a local laboratory dealing with minerals. As their environmental coordinator, he gained experience heading the environment department.
Johnson graduated with his associate of arts degree in electronic technology and engineering at the Career College of Northern Nevada.
In his new role, Johnson will lead the geochemistry laboratory personnel, perform column extractions, sample crushing and pulverizing, sulfur analysis by Nevada Modified Sobek and serve as the laboratory waste coordinator.
WETLAB is an environmental testing laboratory based in Sparks. The company provides comprehensive analytical support on a variety of matrices and testing to comply with numerous programs.
