Plumas Bancorp has announced Jack Prescott has joined Plumas Bank as senior vice president, commercial lending manager.
Prescott brings over 35 years of commercial banking experience to his new position and is responsible for managing lending objectives, targets, strategies, and practices to achieve organizational financial growth. He will also direct a team of experienced commercial lenders throughout the bank’s service area.
Prescott graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in business and agricultural economics. He also graduated with distinction from the American Bankers Association Commercial Lending Graduate School of Banking.
Prescott has lived in Reno for over four decades and is very active in his community. He currently serves on the New West CDFI board of directors. Over the years, he has served as an executive board member of the Reno/Sparks Chamber of Commerce, EDAWN, Education Collaborative, Partners in Education, and Pathways to Aviation.
Prescott has also been involved in business organizations such as The Prospectors Club, YTBD Club, and Vistage and Rotary International.
