People: Rachel Morris named director of development and events for Reno Phil

The Reno Phil announced that Rachel Morris has been selected as the new director of development and events.

In her new position, she will manage annual fundraising efforts, relationships with donors and planning events. Morris has a long history in the arts and brings a wealth of experience to the Reno Phil. She has spent time with the San Francisco Symphony, Las Vegas Philharmonic, South Coast Repertory, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, and the San Francisco Opera.

Morris moved to the Reno area in 2021 when she joined Renown Health as a development specialist.
