People: Kurt Thigpen elected treasurer of the AAF Western Region for the 2023-24 term

The American Advertising Federation Western Region board of directors announced the election of Kurt Thigpen to serve as treasurer of the AAF Western Region for the 2023-24 term.

Thigpen has been an active and dedicated member of the AAF since 2017 after joining the AAF Reno board of directors and continuing to serve in various influential leadership roles.

As treasurer on the AAF Western Region Board, Thigpen will oversee the financial matters of the region, ensuring responsible management of resources and facilitating initiatives that promote the growth and success of AAF chapters throughout the Western Region.

With his role, he enters the track to assume the esteemed position of chair of the Western Region in the coming years.

During his tenure as governor of AAF District 14, Thigpen spearheaded the opening of new AAF chapter, AAF Fresno, in November 2022.
