Austin Morgan
Silver State International announced Austin Morgan has been promoted to parts department manager.
Morgan has more than seven years of experience in his field and was previously parts lead for Silver State International, after working his way up from delivery driver to parts counter apprentice, to front parts counter and back parts counter.
During his career with the company, Morgan has been responsible for satisfying the parts needs of dealership customers by responding to information inquiries, supplying parts from dealership inventory and procuring parts that are not in stock.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the dealership’s parts department in compliance with established policies and procedures, planning, directing and controlling the activities of the department to ensure the overall growth and profit objectives are met, and maintaining the highest quality standards of professionalism while serving customers’ needs.
Morgan earned an associate’s degree in business from Truckee Meadows Community College and is Navistar Parts certified, Bendix Air Brake certified, and Meritor Brake certified.
He is also involved in company sponsored community outreach and has fostered relationships with various vendors and industry partners.
