People: Latha Veerappan promoted by Nevada State Bank

Nevada State Bank has announced the promotion of Latha Veerappan to branch manager of the bank’s Damonte Ranch location in Reno.

Veerappan oversees the overall client experience, colleague management and operations of the branch. Veerappan has been with Nevada State Bank for 15 years, with consistent growth and promotions from a teller to new accounts banker, then supervisor, to most recently, branch service manager.

During her tenure, she has received top awards and recognition for excellence and commitment to the bank’s core values.

As a Reno native, Veerappan is actively involved in the community through Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada and the Greater Nevada Hindu Temple.
