People: Tom McGuire moves to Reno office for Alston Construction

Alston Construction announced Tom McGuire, project manager, has been relocated to the office in Reno.

As project manager, McGuire is responsible for managing and coordinating the project from early design through construction. During pre-construction and design, he helps manage the design team, developing the project schedule as well performing value engineering analysis and constructability reviews.

He is also responsible for developing the subcontractor bid packages and procurement of all subcontracts and materials for the project in a timely manner. McGuire received his associate’s degree from Santa Rosa Community College.

McGuire joins the Reno office after serving as the project manager for the Alston office in Sacramento since 2021. His project experience includes Project Kubota WDC, a 631,465 square foot warehouse and distribution facility in Elk Grove.
