People: Marty Makrdichian named director of service for Peterbilt Truck Parts & Equipment and Silver State International

Peterbilt Truck Parts & Equipment and Silver State International announced Marty Makrdichian has been promoted to director of service of the companies.

Makrdichian has been a member of the Peterbilt Truck Parts & Equipment and Silver State International team since 2006. He has over 17 years of experience in the trucking industry with most of it being in the service department.

Makrdichian grew up in the industry and was wrenching with his father by 4 years old. He has continued developing his skills through other certification programs including Paccar, MX, Cat, Cummins, ASE, Peterbilt Service Management, and leadership through the University of Nevada, Reno, Extended Studies.

In his current role as director of service, Makrdichian oversees five service departments with over 70 employees.
