Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center has been recognized by the Lown Institute for excellence in value of care, patient outcomes, clinical outcomes, inclusivity, avoiding overuse, and cost efficiency, receiving an “A” grade across each respective category on the 2024-25 Lown Institute Hospitals Index.

Saint Mary’s ranked No. 1 in Nevada for value of care, which reflects a hospitals' avoidance of unnecessary care and ability to achieve good outcomes without overspending.

Saint Mary’s was recently named to the 100 Great Community Hospital list from Becker’s Hospital Review in addition to receiving multiple clinical recognitions from U.S. News and World Report and becoming the only hospital in Northern Nevada to be awarded the Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award for 2024.
