The Carson Valley Visitors Authority has hired Josh Rudelbach for the newly created destination marketing and data strategies position. In addition, the CVVA promoted Michelle Valdovinos to destination engagement coordinator.
Rudelbach is a senior-level tourism data analyst with 20-plus years of experience in sales and retail management focused on critical engagement strategies. For the last two years, he’s served as a consultant to the CVVA providing research and data analysis.
Rudelbach’s expertise is in developing meaningful connections with travelers to generate increased tourism.
He will oversee the research and marketing efforts including developing and working with vendor partners on marketing, strategic planning and communications outreach including public relations and social media as well as paid advertising in traditional and digital environments. He will also foster working relationships with local partners and organizations.
Valdovinos’ promotion expands her role with the CVVA to include office management and visitor services with increased marketing support and community engagement.
She will take an active role in the organization’s collaborative efforts including those developed with local partners and other tourism-focused organizations.
She’s been with the CVVA since 2022.
