Melissa Peel
PBS Reno has promoted Melissa Peel to traffic manager.
In her new role as traffic manager, Peel is responsible for inputting and maintaining the monthly program schedule and daily production of broadcast logs for PBS Reno channel 5.1, Reno Create channel 5.2, and PBS KIDS on PBS Reno channel 5.3.
Peel is also responsible for pertinent FCC and Nielsen reporting, and strategically scheduling underwriting content, program promos, and additional content to ensure a seamless constant signal on all three channels.
Peel joined PBS Reno in 2015, having first served as a broadcast content operator. She was promoted to programming assistant in 2023.
