Saint Mary's earns ‘A’ grade for patient safety

Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group.

Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center earned the “A” grade during the same time period that saw other regional hospitals receive “B” and “C” marks for safety.

Additionally, Saint Mary’s was recently named to the 100 Great Community Hospital list from Becker’s Hospital Review after receiving multiple clinical recognitions from U.S. News and World Report and became the only hospital in Northern Nevada to be awarded the Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award for 2024.

Per the Lown Institute Hospitals Index, Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center also ranked No. 1 in Nevada for value of care, receiving “A” grades in Patient Outcomes, Clinical Outcomes, Inclusivity, and Avoiding Overuse.
