Lori Britton
Wildflower Florist owner Lori Britton was presented with the Business of the Year award from the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce. Currently celebrating 34 years in business, A Wildflower is one of Carson Valley’s longest standing businesses.
Britton grew up in Carson Valley, graduated from Douglas High School studied at Western Nevada College and was inducted into the exclusive internationally accredited American Institute of Floral Designers. Britton said she had the only profession where people “turn creation into emotion” that led to a lifetime of sharing celebrating, grieving with generations of the community.
She gave special recognition to the community, who believed in her and to her Mom Linda Curtis who gave A Wildflower its name for teaching her at a very young age the potential nature had to be genuine and to never give up.
