People: Melissa Maguire named board president at Nevada Builders Alliance

Nevada Builders Alliance has announced Melissa Maguire as the board president for 2024.

This marks Maguire's second term as board president, with her first tenure in 2016, during which she was the first woman president in the organization's history.

As board president, Maguire will play a crucial role in guiding the Nevada Builders Alliance toward continued success and growth.

In advocating for its members, Maguire will work to ensure the industry has a voice in matters related to workforce development, permitting, land use, health and safety and more.

Maguire currently serves as the president of A.M. Smith Electric. She formerly served on the Nevada State Contractors Board.

Furthermore, she played a pivotal role in establishing the Northern Nevada Independent Electrical Contractors chapter in 2021.
