People: Shawn Smith promoted at Kidder Mathews

Kidder Mathews’ Shawn Smith has been promoted to managing director of the firm’s Reno office.

Smith is a top producer with over 24 years of commercial brokerage experience, specializing in retail properties. Before joining Kidder Mathews as an executive vice president in 2021, he spent over a decade at CBRE and five years at Colliers International. 

Demonstrating his industry expertise, Smith holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation from the CCIM Institute and the Certified Retail Real Estate Professional designation from the International Center of Shopping Centers.
