People: Alida Mooney joins Allison MacKenzie law firm

Allison MacKenzie law firm announced Alida Mooney has joined the firm.

Originally from western New York, Mooney received her Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 2018.

She pursued a degree in law and graduated from Vermont Law School in 2021. She was admitted to practice law in the state of Nevada in 2022.

Mooney is a member of the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association and the Nevada Water Resources Association. Her areas of practice include water rights law, litigation, administrative law, public utilities law, appellate law and energy law.
