Lester Romero
Nevada State Bank welcomes Lester Romero as senior vice president/retail group performance manager, responsible for developing and implementing small business strategies for branches in Southern Nevada.
A longtime veteran of the banking industry, Romero will work closely with branch leadership to expand support for small businesses in the region.
Romero joins NSB from Wells Fargo, where he most recently served as business growth strategy senior manager. In that role, he oversaw a team of managers and bankers supporting business clients with revenues between $100,000 and $5 million.
During his 28-year tenure at Wells Fargo, Romero progressed through various positions, starting as a teller, and advancing to roles such as business specialist, branch manager, and small business segment consultant manager.
Romero is the immediate past chair of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, where he has served for over a decade.
He has also been actively involved with organizations such as the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the National Urban League.
