greenUP! announces the launch of the Green Box To-Go reusable takeout container program at the Reno Public Market.
The GBTG program offers a solution to reduce single-use waste by providing reusable containers for customers who opt-in.
Customers can participate in the GBTG program by downloading greenUP!’s Green Box To-Go app and choosing a plan. To use the service, customers click “borrow” in the app, select the number of boxes, scan the restaurant’s QR code, and show the confirmation screen to the cashier.
Used boxes are returned within two weeks to any participating restaurant, where a drop-off container QR code registers the return.
RPM members include The Noodle Station, Burger NV, Mediterranean Bae, Pasta La Vista, V’s Churros, Cuzco Peruvian Cuisine, and Chick-a-Boom.
