Western Environmental Testing Laboratory has announced the new role of Jacob Brotman to chromatography scientist 1.
In his new role, Brotman will be responsible for Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) drinking and wastewater analysis by EPA 524.2 and 8260.
He will also be responsible for instrument tuning and calibration, standard preparation, data analysis and review, method review and revision, daily record keeping, compliance reviews and standard operating procedure revisions.
Brotman has 10 years of experience in laboratory testing and spent two and a half years as WETLABs wet chemistry team lead.
In his previous role, Brotman was responsible for overseeing department training and personnel assignment as well as compliance reviews and standard operating procedure revisions.
