April marks the 57th anniversary of the federal Fair Housing Act, and the 36th anniversary of the Fair Housing Amendments Act.
In recognition of Fair Housing Month, SSFHC will host its first Fair Housing Month community resource fair in Northern Nevada.
The event will bring together social service providers, advocacy groups, and government agencies serving all groups protected by fair housing laws.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the McKinley Arts & Cultural Center, 925 Riverside Drive, in Reno.
