PBS Reno has hired two new content creators: Dillon Beckwith and Joshua Fuss.
Beckwith brings 10 years of experience in video production to PBS Reno. He most recently served as a director and associate producer with Building Block Entertainment programs.
There, Beckwith developed content for Shows That Teach including the video series Start With Heart and This is How We Roll. Beckwith also filmed and edited content for BestOnlineCabinets.com while working as a digital producer in San Gabriel, Calif.
He is also the owner of Dillon Beckwith Media, which has captured photography and video assets for the band Blondie. He is focused on environmental conservation and topics involving the U.S. Forest Service, making him a good fit for providing videography for the PBS Reno program Wild Nevada.
Fuss brings 20 years of videography, cinematography, and photography experience to PBS Reno. He spent more than a decade in Los Angeles, where he worked on several documentaries and television shows and collaborated with directors and other professionals to innovate lighting techniques and elevate storytelling through visuals.
Fuss brought his strengths in visual storytelling to the West Coast Customs television show as director of photography, and elevated the brand through cinematography, lighting, and composition for more than six years.
Fuss worked as an independent contractor in Los Angeles and frequently executed modern techniques, including timelapse photography and aerial cinematography.
In their new roles, Beckwith and Fuss will be responsible for filming and producing content for PBS Reno productions including Wild Nevada, PBS Reno STEM Works, and the Spotlight Awards and Auction.
They will also edit videos that serve the needs of PBS Reno, its audience, and its underwriters and supporters in the community.
