Slim Chickens breaks ground on south Reno location

Slim Chickens has broken ground on its newest location in south Reno.

The restaurant, set to open at 1085 Steamboat Parkway, joins its sister store at 351 Los Altos Parkway in Sparks.

The south Reno location, totaling 2,450 square feet and an exterior patio, will feature a modern design and a drive through. The restaurant will offer its crispy tenders, wings, house-made dipping sauces, salads, sandwiches, wraps, and jar desserts. Dine-in, takeout, and online ordering options will be available.

Construction is expected to be completed by June, with a grand opening celebration to follow. Tim Milton Construction is the general contractor on the project.
