People: Tara Hagan named director of fixed income operations

Buckhead Capital Management announces Tara Hagan, former chief deputy treasurer of the Nevada State Treasurer’s Office, as director of fixed income operations.

Totaling nearly 15 years of service to the state of Nevada, Hagan was also previously the executive director of the Nevada Public Employees' Deferred Compensation Program.

Hagan joins BCMs fixed income team from her role as CFO for the Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System, where she was responsible for financial reporting, cash management and investment accounting for a $41 billion public retirement system.

Hagan is a seasoned professional with a track record in public funds. Throughout her more than 30 years in the industry, Hagan has provided direction and oversight on complex investment portfolios and strategies for a diverse range of public sector clients.
