The Nevada Department of Agriculture, in partnership with Made in Nevada, presented the 2024 Nevada Agriculture, Food and Beverage Small Business of the Year Award to Yellow Petal Flower Farm from Fallon, with State Sen. Robin Titus and representatives from Gov. Joe Lombardo and Lt. Gov. Stavros Anthony’s offices.
The award recognizes the work done by agriculture, food and beverage industries in Nevada. Yellow Petal Flower Farm was selected from 22 nominations to receive this year’s award. Along with them, 7 Hawk Ranch, Huck Salt Co., Park Ranch Meats and Urban Roots were among the top five nominees.
Nominations for Yellow Petal Flower farm recognized them for their service to the Churchill County community, uplifting other farmers, creating a space where they can bring their products to consumers, and showcasing what Nevada agriculture can look like.
